EcoliWiki needs your help
We need help from the community annotating the following genes this month: ClpB, ClpX, GntY, GpmA
Add in papers and annotations or if you would like to contribute, but aren't sure how, email us..

DH10B and More Phage
EcoliWiki offers information now on all three of the sequenced E. coli K-12 strains: MG1655, W3110 & DH10B. Also, there are gene lists for 18 phage genomes, 1 prophage & 8 cryptic prophage.

GBrowse Updates
We have updated the EcoliWiki GBrowse to make it easier to get around & have added lots of special tracks to the E. coli genomes. Click on the tracks in Genomic Features or Operons to see more details for the strain you are viewing.

Interactive Structures from PDB
Structures are available on lots of gene product pages that you can rotate, zoom, change colors, add a surface area mesh map, etc.

Motif Maps
The gene products pages now have a motif map to go along with the Domains and Motifs Table.

About EcoliHub

Sixty years of study have made Escherichia coli K-12 the most deeply understood organism at the molecular level. Much of what we know about cellular processes can be traced to fundamental discoveries in E. coli. In spite of its great importance as a model organism, information about E. coli is distributed among many online resources. EcoliHub uses web services that are being developed to make seamless bidirectional connections between E. coli resources, thereby enabling the full use of existing knowledge and supporting cutting-edge research into the molecular basis of life.
